Explain the "problem" with someone who has dyslexia. Explain if it is a problem with the eyes, the brain, or something else.

Someone with Dyslexia has a brain problem. Because it has more of the right-hemisphere than a normal person would and that part of the hemisphere is stronger. Also because a normal person would use the same part of the brain to read but a person with dyslexia uses a different part of the brain to read which makes it harder for them to comprehend the reading. Dyslexia just makes things more difficult to understand.
The "problem" with someone who has dyslexia, is that they have difficulties with writing, reading, & maybe spelling in their native language. There are now more detailed definitions of dyslexia, but this is the main one. Dyslexia is an inherited condition, & is a problem dealing with the brain.

I'm looking for more of a specific description of the problem. see if you can come up with more definitive reasons as to what is going on in a dyslexic person's brain. If you do that, then you can earn extra credit.

The cause for dyslexia is derived from the brain.Dyslexics show "poor visual localization particularly on their left side of the temporal parietal language areas", and it is clearly stated that the cerebellum is one of the parts that is more defective.Children with DRD have difficulty comprehending and putting together words, symbols and sentences. Now this does not mean that a child with DRD is not intelligent, in fact many have above average intelligence. A person with dyslexia needs to be treated with special education services, since every individual with this disorder is different. Extra help can lead to improvement but yet their reading difficulties can still be a problem there whole life. Unfortunetly this disorder has some negative effects such as a poor social life causing them to grow up with a low self-esteem.
